It was in a sorry state and had been caught in a big winter storm. We shared that we were bringing her back down south and one of the members of our Boat Scrapyard Facebook messaged to say he’d like to save the boat. It was a nice outcome as the boat was fixed up and given a new lease of life rather than being put through the crusher.

The wood work was immaculate throughout and we were sure we could find someone for her. The Lonely boats team created a video and posted it on our Youtube Channel and social media and after a few weeks the boat finally found a new home. It is a Norwegian designed cruiser and we thought it was a perfect little boat for anyone who lives near the inland waterways. It was lonely and collecting dust on a driveway near Manchester. Now she’s matched with a new owner and living a new life near London. She was a bit of a niche boat and took a bit of time to find someone to take her on but we got there eventually and hopefully she’ll enjoy many more years of use on the inland waterways.
