“A Maurice Griffiths designed 31ft Golden Hind WINE KNOT is a wooden sailing boat, built in 1966 at Plymouth.”

“After 27 years with the first owner at Dartmouth WINE KNOT has had 30 years with Robin Lewin, sailing in the Solent area and across the Channel to Normandy. The boat has a full inventory for a crew of 4 and is based in Poole Harbour. Annual winter maintenance has been carried out by the owner and boatyard staff.”

“Inevitably a wooden boat of WINE KNOT’s age requires work to be done, mainly along the topsides and the guardrail stanchions, indicating the asking price. A recent yacht survey has shown that some work needs to be done. At 77 I can no longer do this. The boat has a full inventory and the engine was reconditioned in 2022.”
