Everitt YCA 29 Yacht in Gosport

This boat has now been re-homed.

We have been asked by a local marina to share this Everitt YCA 29 which is FREE to a good home. The boat has been left at the marina by her former owner. They have since taken ownership of the boat and are trying to find a solution for her. At the moment she is a mess but once cleared could be a nice sized project boat for someone.

The marina asked the Boatbreakers team to come and run our eye over the boat. In our opinion she is just about on the borderline of being a project someone might want to take on. She will need attention to the deck, a big clean up inside and a new engine. The exterior of her hull doesn’t look too bad and seems to have been prepped ready for antifouling. This is the main reason that she is free as the marina understand it would cost a fair amount to get her back sailing. All of the pictures we have were taken February 2024.

It looks as if there has been some oily water in the floor of the boat so this would be the first thing that should be cleaned out.

As part of the deal the marina have offered a free lift onto transport and the offer the crane to unstep the mast. Any buyer would need to arrange for the rig to be taken down by a rigger or themselves.
