‘Freda’ Classic Morecambe Prawner in Gosport

Our Boat disposal team were asked to have a look at this beautiful boat in Gosport. Freda was a one off and a replica of a classic Morecambe Prawner. Freda was one of the boats that we had in that really made us want to develop the Lonely Boats idea further. As she was far too nice to scrap and we knew rehoming would only take us creating a video.

Freda has now found her match. We would like to thank all of the people who contacted us to offer her a new forever home. Freda’s owners had tasked us with helping them find a home for this classic design Lancashire Nobby Replica. She’s a GRP replica of a Morecambe Prawner, built in 1989 for the Boat show. The boat was in the water in Gosport. She had been owned by the guy who had her built ever since and even had a brand new Beta engine in 2020. As you can see from the video she needed a little bit of work but nothing that would stop you enjoying her straight away.
