Falmouth Gypsy Mk2 in Penarth

Matched to a New Owner

This Boat is no longer lonely

This boat has now been re-homed, and her former owner seems happy with his decision to use Lonely Boats!

“A quick note to say that someone came down on Saturday and walked away with the keys. I’ll be honest, I have been gobsmacked by the response. I haven’t written to everybody yet, but I will. Thank you for your advice and support.”

We have been asked to share this Falmouth Gypsy MK2 which is in Penarth Marina (Near Cardiff, Wales). Her owner is looking to move away from the area by the end of the month and would like to pass on this project boat to someone who can take her on and enjoy her.

She will need some work but this is reflected in the owner offering her for free. If you are interested in her please fill in the contact form below.

Her owner provided this detail about the boat, “I have had this boat, my first, since 2016, and she is well loved. She is also my home, although, frankly she is far too small. The idea of passing her on to somebody else is ver attractive. If this were possible she would be ‘free to a good home’ because she is very much a ‘fixer-upper’. For somebody with a little enthusiasm and some DIY skills this could be a fun project.”
“She does need new decks, but this could be achieved by laminating marine ply over the existing decks. Well within the scope of a good DIYer with some weekends to spare. That being said, I do need to move her on by the end of March, because I’m moving away.”
