Glastron GS 259 in Portland Marina

This Lonely Boat has now sold.

We had been asked to share this Glastron GS 259 for sale. Her owner has provided us with this biography about the boat. Initially her owner got in contact to try and move the boat on through our Boat disposal service. But after looking at the pictures and hearing about her issues we were sure someone out there might want to take her on.

“Fornella is a Glastron GS 259 which I bought nearly new in 2008. She was berthed at Essex Marina until 2010 when she was moved to Portland Marina where she has been dry-stacked. She is well appointed with a serviceable galley, head and accommodation in the cabin and rear.”

“To alleviate windage the canopy has been replaced with a bespoke cover. The Volvo Diesel engine makes her very economical. She sits well in the water and Is very stable under power and gives an exhilarating ride when on the plane. Problems have recently been encountered with water ingress into the cabin and the drive and steering although the engine works well. With the right attention she could be returned to full serviceability.”
