Regal 2465 Commodore

This Regal 2465 Commodore has now sold. Like the Monterey 270 the week before it only took 2 days to sell. Thank you to everyone who showed an interest in making an offer for her.

We had been asked to share this Regal 2465 Commodore for sale in Gosport. She had been lifted out of the water recently and her owner had noticed that there was a problem with her outdrive. Whilst trying to free up the props there was some disintegration on the leg. This was probably down to an anode being worn away and not replaced quickly enough.

Our team looked at the boat and the rest of the boat looks in good condition still. Her owner said that the engine is a runner so it’s likely to just need a new outdrive. Typically a replacement outdrive would cost about £6-7k fitted.

As you can see from the pictures of the rest of the boat she is a tidy boat. Her cover was new three years ago but would need some repairs and the boat has been scrubbed and re-anti-fouled. She would benefit from a good clean over to freshen her up but all boats do after a winter in dry storage.

Once her issue with the leg is fixed you’re good to go. The marina she is in has lifting facilities for anyone looking to transport the boat elsewhere. You could probably get the boat on a large trailer if you have one. Other Regals online are coming up at around 2 tonnes.
