Snapdragon 747 For Sale in Gosport

We have been asked to share this Snapdragon 747 (Fin Keel) for sale which is currently at Premier Marina Gosport. Her owner bought her as a project in late 2019 and then Covid meant he had two years away from her. Following that period his circumstances changed and she had some engine issues. All of this has culminated in the owner wanting to move her on. We visited the boat ourselves to take the pictures and from what we can see she is a tidy boat. There is definitely work to be done to clean up the forward cabin’s headlining and the heads. But in general the boat seems clean and well maintained. Her major issue is the Yanmar 1GM10 engine which has a crack in the exhaust manifold. Her engine runs but it’s smokey and in our opinion it needs fixing. The 1GM10s are fairly common engines so it should be fairly easy to get the required parts.

For £500 we think you’d be getting a really nice project boat. Even in a worst case scenario you might be looking at around £1000 for a new engine. But this still makes her a fairly cheap vessel to take on. Her owner has also said that he’s got the sails which have barely been used stored in a lock up.
