Tai Pan 28 For Sale in Warsash

We have been asked to share this Tai Pan 28 which is currently ashore along the river Hamble. We have actually visited the boat in person and in our opinion she is a great project for someone to take on. She will need some work to get her back shining again but the hull and engine are both good. We have included a few pictures of the boat in her former glory.

Notes from the Owner

Built 1973 in Hong Kong, she is a Tai Pan 28.

100 built between 1970-80, long keel FG hull with

Wooden mast/boom, Volvo Penta 2002 inboard

Installed 1995, still runs, no problems since my purchase in 2008

She has been layed-up ashore since 2017 and needs some TLC to get her looking ship shape again

The wooden Toe rail needs re-seating as there is som leakage into cabin, also needs a new electrical board

Main and Genoa sails in very good condition as is spray hood.

A good winter project and a pretty boat for next summer
