Yacht in Tollensbury Marina

Sadly this boat couldn’t find a new owner and was scrapped. It seems the size of the project to restore her was just too much for people to take on.

We have been asked to share this yacht which is FREE to a good home. She is definitely a project based on the information we have been sent by the owner. But as she’s free that give you the budget to fix some of her issues. Her owner provided this write up for the boat:

“Although an absolute pleasure to sail, Blue Vinney has become beyond my ability to repair. She has currently been on the hard at Tollesbury marina for a few months now and is looking for a new owner to save her from scrap. Blue Vinney has the early stages of osmosis (blisters shown in picture) however is still structurally sound according to my surveyor. So she is in desperate of need someone who knows what they’re doing with fibreglass! Sails are getting on a bit now and quite baggy and main has a small hole that needs repairing. I’m happy to answer any questions, please get in touch if interested in a lovely boat that needs a full refit.

I’m also selling my tohatsu 5hp outboard for £250 alongside the boat which is free to the right person”
