Just to say, many thanks to you for your help with moving a grand old boat on to a brighter future. Lonely Boats is an oasis in the desert of broker disinterest that may be experienced by owners of older and less polished boats. We’ve been asked to share this 40ft Pikmeer Cruiser for sale in Norwich. Her owners are looking for a solution for the boat as ill health means that her ongoing up keep isn’t going to be possible. Originally the boat came in as potential scrap boat but we think that there is plenty of life left in her. She would be a big boat for someone to take on and a potential live aboard opportunity. Asking price is £5,000 ono but we are sure the owner will be willing to consider all serious offers.
Notes from the owner:
It is a Dutch steel 6 berth motor cruiser. It has a single engine, prop and rudder, with bow and stern thrusters, and hydraulic steering at upper & lower helm positions. These main systems are all functional. Nav lights and horn were semi dismantled for upgrade. Many cosmetic tasks are also required. It’s unlikely I will complete this work due to ill health and mobility issues. I will be looking to complete quickly and minimize costs with mooring fees due mid December but I am looking for a quick solution before the end of January.
