Solent Lonely Boat Brokerage
For owners who live away from their vessel, have busy schedules, or simply struggle to manage buyer enquiries and viewings, our Solent Lonely Boat Brokerage Service offers a simple solution.
If your boat is located on the South Coast in the Solent area (Chichester to Lymington, excluding the Isle of Wight), the Lonely Boats® team can help.
We will visit your vessel in person, take high-quality photos, gather all necessary specifications, and build an effective listing. From there, we manage every incoming enquiry, filter genuine buyers, and conduct all on-site viewings on your behalf, making the rehoming process as effortless and seamless as possible for you. The boat must be in an accessible location. We can only assist with a boat on a midstream mooring if there is a local water taxi service.
By opting into our Solent Lonely Boat Brokerage Service, you agree to the following terms regarding the management and viewing of your vessel:
Vessel Accessibility & Location
- The vessel must be located in the Solent region (Chichester to Lymington, excluding the Isle of Wight).
- The boat must be directly accessible to our staff and potential buyers. It must be situated ashore, berthed in a marina, or secured on a mooring that can be safely accessed with a local water taxi service.
- Midstream Moorings: We cannot provide brokerage services for boats on midstream or river moorings unless a reliable, publicly operating water taxi service is available to transport our team and prospective buyers to and from the vessel.
Keys & Access Authorisation
- The owner must provide necessary keys, access codes, or marina permissions prior to any scheduled photography session or viewing.
Condition & Deck Safety
- While we cater to project craft, the vessel must be in a safe condition for our team and potential buyers to board for inspection. Anything that we deem to be unsafe for resale we will advise you and can discuss your disposal options instead.
Service Scope & Flat Fee
- Our brokerage service includes an initial site visit, photography, listing creation, enquiry management, and conducting viewings on your behalf.
- As with all Lonely Boats services, sales are handled on a flat-fee basis with zero sales commission charged on the final agreed price.
