Stella Wooden Clinker Classic Yacht For Sale In Southsea

We have been asked to share this Stella classic wooden clinker built yacht which is currently in Southsea Marina (Portsmouth). Her owner is effectively giving her away at the asking price of £100 as he would like to see someone take on the boat rather than leaving her to sit on her mooring. We share the owners thoughts that it would be a real shame to even consider scrapping her so we really hope that there is someone out there who could take her on. From the owners notes she will need some repairs (details below) but in our opinion she is definitely a boat worth saving. Lys of Slaughden, a Wooden clinker built classic yacht, always attracts complements. 3 owners in last 55 years. Last 6 years in current ownership and sailed in the Solent.

Little used over last 2 years and so she deserves a new owner. Leaky stern gland and broken rib forward repaired but allows slow seepage of sea water between planks in one short section
